A Day’s Work

by WildBlue on June 12, 2010

Starting a blog can be a time warp; sign up on WordPress.com, discover WordPress.com limitations, sign up for a unique domain name and host on independent server outside of WordPress.com, learn that using WordPress now requires independent software installation because you’re off the reservation bunky, engage the
software installation services for WordPress 2.9 and now find a Theme for the blog — <many hours pass> — decide upon using Themes 1.7 in the Classical Cut Style and go through all the installation Rig-A-Ma-Roll with downloads, uploads, permissions, yada, yada …. it’s just the beginning and it’s going to be a beautiful ride.

Why was this blog started? To spend Saturdays alone in front of the PC and wax poetically about Blog initiation rituals?  Uh, No … we’re going to chat about trading Euro Futures, how to determine the context of “Where” to trade and drill down on the trigger of “When” to trade so that you can  gain an edge and enjoy a positive equity curve.  After being immersed in BlogoTech setup circus for the last day or two, I’m wondering how this first post will render?  We’ll see.

If you’re going to use WordPress for blogging and have a little “Techie” in your soul, then using Pearson’s Theme is the way to go – http://www.pearsonified.com/themes – Sometimes, you just have to give a man his due — Ciao’.

Thank for stopping by, Jim — I have a couple more posts in Draft mode, but I realize I’m going to have to just “get content posted” and not worry so much about the cropping the pictures ;)
